BREAKING NEWS: Typhoon Faxai Immobilizes Tokyo Commute

Storm warnings has been issued as this category 2 storm passes through Honshu, hitting Tokyo with wind speed reaching 35 km / Hour. Citizens are advised to stay indoors.

Today, Tokyo has been impacted by the category 2 Typhoon Faxai. Storm warnings has been issued by the The Japanese Meteorological Agency (JMA) for southeastern Japan, including Tokyo. Wind speed has been recorded at 210KM / hour in Tokyo as the storm passes Honshu, heading towards the eastern sea. Dangerous winds are likely occur along southeastern Honshu, and also Japan's southern and eastern shores will be hit with monstrous storm surge. Non compulsory evacuation has been issued to over 390,000 people around Kanagawa, Tokyo and Shizuoka area. Furthermore, Tokyo train lines and other means of transportation (including airplanes) has been immobilized since this morning, leaving heavy congestions of daily commuters in subways and stations. Citizens are advised to stay indoors as the storm passes.
